Maple Max Auto Gasket RTV Silicone is an advanced single-component sealant based on RTV silicone that cures with air moisture and turns into a highly resistant, flexible, and impermeable rubber-like layer. This product features a special formulation designed in Turkey (Design in Turkey) and has been developed specifically for components exposed to extremely high temperatures, oils, and continuous mechanical pressure. Maple Max 500°C Gasket Maker is recognized as the best replacement for various rubber, paper, cork, and metal gaskets. Without cracking, volume loss, or shrinkage, this sealant absorbs the heavy vibrations of automotive engines and industrial components and prevents any leakage of oil, antifreeze, and water.
Features:
- Very high heat resistance; withstands temperatures up to +500°C (500°C High Temperature)
- Elastic and durable flexibility (Flexible Rubbery Seal)
- Resistance to automotive fluids; high resistance to engine oil, gear oil, antifreeze, grease, and water
- Outstanding adhesion; exceptional bonding to metal surfaces (aluminum, cast iron, steel), ceramic, and glass
- Easy and clean application; equipped with a special injection nozzle for uniform and error-free dispensing
- Resistant to vibration and high pressure
- No cracking or shrinkage after curing
Applications:
Maple Max Gasket Maker is suitable for sealing, jointing, and gasket-making in critical parts of automotive engines and mechanical industries, with a wide range of applications, including:
- Sealing the cylinder head, valve cover, and oil pan of various light and heavy vehicles
- Sealing and insulating the water pump and thermostat housing
- Sealing the gearbox housing, differential, and gearboxes
- Insulating the exhaust manifold, exhaust connections, and industrial flanges
- Sealing various pumps, compressors, and high-temperature plumbing lines
Directions for Use:
Thoroughly clean and dry the application area from dust, grease, oil, and residues of old gaskets. Cut the cartridge tip and attach the special nozzle. Cut the nozzle tip according to the desired thickness (usually 2 to 4 mm). Apply the sealant evenly and continuously around the edges of the joint and around the bolt holes. Place the parts together and tighten the bolts so that the sealant is slightly compressed. Allow the sealant to reach final curing (initial drying takes about 10 to 20 minutes, and final strength is achieved after 24 hours).
Expiration Date:
As indicated on the product can. Store in a dry, cool place at a temperature of +5 to +25°C.
Special Precautions:
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Keep away from direct sunlight.
- Store in a dry and cool place.
- Ensure proper ventilation when using.
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin (in case of contact, wash with plenty of water).
- Not recommended for areas permanently immersed in gasoline.
