Due to its very high flexibility for securing the car glass, its resistance to UV radiation, and its powerful adhesion, HiFix automotive glass Sausage Silicone Adhesive is highly practical for bonding the automotive glass of all types of light and heavy vehicles.
Instructions for Use of HiFix automotive glass Sausage Silicone Adhesive:
- The automotive glass contact area must be completely clean, dry, and free of any grease or contaminants. All rust, old adhesive, and previous silicone must be cleaned and removed.
- Cut the tip of the product package with a cutter.
- Then, place the adhesive in the special HiFix sausage adhesive gun.
- Fill the contact area with the HiFix special automotive glass silicone adhesive and place the automotive glass in its designated position.
- Fix the automotive glass in place using special wide adhesive tape and remove the tapes after 24 hours.
Expiration Date:
As indicated on the product container. Store in a dry place at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
Special Precautions:
- Initial setting occurs within 10–20 minutes, and final curing takes 24–48 hours.
- Do not use the vehicle for at least 24 hours after installation.
- Store at 5–25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Do not apply to wet, frozen, oily, or dirty surfaces.
- Do not wash the vehicle with high-pressure water for 48 hours.
- Use a dedicated sealant gun and work gloves during application.
- Uncured adhesive can be removed with acetone or thinner; cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
