Features:
Using Maple Fix polyurethane adhesive brings numerous technical advantages to your projects:
- Unparalleled Adhesion: Powerful bonding to various surfaces including concrete, brick, ceramics, glass, wood, and metals.
- High UV and Weather Resistance: No discoloration, cracking, or quality degradation when exposed to direct sunlight, snow, and rain.
- Permanent Flexibility: Maintains its elasticity after fully curing, preventing the sealant from tearing due to structural vibrations or thermal expansion/contraction.
- Paintability: Once fully cured, the surface can be painted with a variety of water-based and industrial paints.
- Shrinkage-Free: The adhesive volume does not decrease during the curing process, keeping the joints completely filled.
- Chemical Resistance: Optimum resistance to mild chemicals, oils, and industrial solvents.
Applications:
Due to its advanced formulation, Maple Fix polyurethane mastic sealant has a wide range of applications across various industries:
- Construction Industry: Filling and waterproofing concrete expansion joints, building facades, prefabricated panels, and industrial flooring.
- Automotive Industry: Sealing and bonding car body parts, windshields, and wagon manufacturing.
- Door and Window Installation: Complete waterproofing around UPVC, aluminum, and wooden doors and windows to prevent moisture and air infiltration.
- HVAC and Plumbing: Insulating and sealing water pipes and HVAC systems.
- Marine Industry: Used in waterproofing boat and ship joints due to its high resistance to moisture.
How to Use:
To achieve maximum adhesion and ultimate quality, carefully follow these steps:
- Surface Preparation: First, ensure that the target surfaces are completely dry, clean, and free from any dust, grease, oil, and rust.
- Primer Application (if necessary): For highly porous surfaces, using a specific polyurethane primer is recommended.
- Adhesive Preparation: Cut the end of the Maple Fix sausage pack and place it inside a specific sausage caulking gun. Then, attach the nozzle to the gun.
- Injection: Cut the nozzle to match the joint’s width and inject the adhesive with uniform pressure at a 45 degree angle into the joint until it is completely filled.
- Tooling: Immediately after injection (before skin formation), smooth and level the adhesive surface using a spatula dipped in soapy water.

Expiration Date:
As printed on the product can. Store in a dry place at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C.
Special Note:
- Curing Time: Skin formation time is typically between 45 to 60 minutes, but final curing, depending on the sealant thickness, ambient temperature, and humidity, takes about 24 hours for every 3 mm.
- Storage Conditions: Store the product in a dry, cool environment (temperature between 5 and 25 °C) and away from direct sunlight.
- Work Safety: Wear safety gloves and goggles during use. In case of skin contact, immediately wipe it off with a clean cloth and wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Ventilation: Perform sealing operations in well-ventilated areas.
