Features:
Choosing HiFix Polyurethane Sausage Adhesive brings several technical and economic advantages for interior decorators:
- Mirror Backing Protection (Completely Neutral): Free of acidic substances and destructive solvents that cause blackening and corrosion on the back of the mirror.
- High Initial Grab: High initial setting speed that minimizes the need for temporary supports.
- Permanent Elasticity and Flexibility: Retains its elasticity after curing and resists building vibrations and expansion/contraction.
- Economical Packaging (Sausage): Larger volume compared to standard cartridges, reduces plastic waste, and offers easier injection using a sausage caulking gun.
- Thermal and Weather Resistance: Maintains quality and adhesion in temperature fluctuations and humid environments.
- Odorless and Eco-Friendly: No irritating odor during injection and curing.
Applications:
The use of HiFix Polyurethane Mirror Adhesive is not limited to a single surface. Its advanced formulation provides powerful bonding in the following applications:
- Decorative and Puzzle Mirrors: Ideal for bonding decorative mirrors onto plaster walls, painted surfaces, and wooden panels.
- Various Surfaces: Excellent adhesion to building materials such as concrete, brick, ceramic, tile, wood, MDF, and metals.
- Humid Environments: Suitable for installing mirrors in bathrooms, restrooms, and swimming pools due to its high moisture resistance.
- General Applications and Sealing: Applicable for elastic joints and sealing that require a neutral, non-acidic adhesive.
How to Use:
To achieve maximum adhesion and joint longevity, carefully follow these steps:
- Surface Preparation: The intended surfaces (both the mirror backing and the wall/substrate) must be completely dry, clean, and free of any dust, grease, oil, and moisture.
- Adhesive Preparation: Cut the end of the sausage pack with a cutter and place it inside a specific sausage caulking gun. Cut the nozzle according to the desired output volume.
- Injection Method: Apply the adhesive in vertical and parallel lines (about 5 to 10 cm apart) on the back of the mirror. Important Note: Never apply the adhesive in spots or closed circles, as air must circulate for the adhesive to cure.
- Mirror Installation: Place the mirror in its exact location and press it onto the surface with uniform manual pressure.
- Temporary Fixation: For heavy mirrors, using double-sided tape or temporary mechanical supports for 24 to 48 hours (until the polyurethane is fully cured) is recommended.

Expiration Date:
As printed on the product can. Store in a dry place at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C.
Special Note:
- Final Curing Time: Initial setting usually occurs within the first few minutes, but deep and final curing of the adhesive (depending on ambient temperature and humidity) takes between 24 to 72 hours.
- Storage Conditions: Store the product in a dry, cool environment (temperature 5 to 25°C) and away from direct sunlight.
- Application Limitations: Avoid applying this adhesive on surfaces constantly submerged in water. Also, use work gloves during application.
- Adhesive Cleanup: Uncured adhesive can be cleaned with specific solvents (like industrial acetone), but once cured, it can only be removed mechanically by scraping.
