HiFix Polyurethane Sausage Mastic Sealant

Features:

Applications:

Due to its high elasticity, HiFix polyurethane sealant is used in various industries:

• Construction Industry: Sealing precast concrete elements, filling expansion joints, and waterproofing building facades.
• Automotive & Transportation: Sealing and bonding metal parts of vehicle bodies, containers, portable cabins, and wagons.
• Facilities/HVAC: Waterproofing pipes, HVAC systems, and false ceiling connections.
• Wood & Glass Industries: Bonding and sealing door and window frames (aluminum, wood, and UPVC).

How to Use:

1. Surface Preparation: Prior to application, surfaces must be completely dry, clean, and free of any dust, grease, oil, and rust.
2. Sealant Preparation: Cut the end of the sausage pack using a suitable tool.
3. Application: Place the pack into a specialized sausage sealant gun. Cut the nozzle according to the joint width and inject the sealant with uniform pressure into the desired area.
4. Tooling: Immediately after injection, smooth the sealant surface using a spatula or a soapy finger to achieve a uniform appearance.

Expiration Date:

As printed on the product can. Store in a dry place at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C.

Special Note:

• Adhesion Limitations: This sealant is not suitable for bonding to Teflon (PTFE), Polyethylene (PE), and Polypropylene (PP) surfaces.
• Storage Conditions: Store the product in a dry, cool environment (temperatures between 5 to 25°C) and away from direct sunlight.
• Safety: Wear safety gloves and goggles during use. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Adequate ventilation in the application area is mandatory.
